and Michael Strahan! This was one of the worse kept secrets...nevertheless, I am excited about the direction the show will go - I love watching Kelly in the mornings and the chemistry/ jovial relationship the two of them share, I am sure the ratings will soar. I must say I am impressed an African American man received this coveted position. Now if only they will give me tickets so I can go to a live taping on my birthday.

An honorable mention also goes to Terrence J as he landed Ryan Seacrest's spot next to Guiliana Rancic on E! News - this came as a surprise as I had no idea Ryan was leaving.

I also happened to catch Steve Harvey's new talk show which premiered today at 2pm on NBC (I won't be able to watch after next week unless I set the DVR since it conflicts with General Hospital's new time slot) - and I enjoyed it! 

I am really proud African Americans are busting through the glass ceilings that were previously in place and seemed unbreakable for some time. Anything is possible with perseverance and hard work.
